FAQ

How do I get to Bucharest?

Bucharest Henry Coanda Airport is serviced by most regular European airlines, as well as some low-cost ones – Wizzair, Blue Air, Ryanair. You can find reasonably priced direct flights from most parts of Europe. Alternatively, Bucharest is an important rail and road hub in the area, so if you are from central or south-eastern Europe you may choose to come by train or car.

How much for a beer?

6 lei for local beer, that’s 1.3 EUR. Cheap, right?

Where can I find something to eat?

There’s a good and affordable restaurant at the same location as the festival. This is the menu, unfortunately it’s only in Romanian but you can at least get an idea.

Where can I stay?

Watch this place, we’ll be back with some suggestions for a nice place to sleep even if you’re on a budget.

Where do I park my car?

The venue doesn’t have a parking lot, sorry. Better leave it at the hotel (or wherever you’re staying) and use the public transportation. This way you can also have a few drinks, win-win.

Where do I get my tickets?

More info about the tickets (including a combo package where you can book a hotel room) can be found here: http://www.rtmc.ro/tickets/

Can I buy a festival t-shirt?

Of course, as soon as we’re gonna have the new ones :). ‘Till then, take a look at the Old Grave Fest 2014 t-shirts, you can order them at contact@rtmc.ro. Only 10 euro (45 RON).

What can’t I bring along?

Weapons, pyrotechnics, drugs, the usual. Also, as this is an indoor festival in a club, no drinks, just buy them at the bar! You CAN bring your huge mega professional photo camera, just try not to be a pain in the ass for the audience, please.

I have a band, I wanna play!

How can I get a press accreditation ?

Mail us at press@rtmc.ro.

I’m still confused, what’s the name of the festival?

Ok, it’s the 4th edition of the Romanian Thrash Metal Fest (and the 2nd called Old Grave Fest). But it’s not exclusively thrash, so in 2014 we decided to change the name to Old Grave Fest and maybe for this 2nd edition we’ll go along with both.

What is the Romanian Thrash Metal Club actually?

Just a bunch of fans that happen to like thrash metal and the related genres. We got together in 2011 with one major purpose – to support this kind of music in every way we can, and this festival is the best way, we think.
