Once again Romanian Thrash Metal Club is honored to present ENTOMBED A.D. with all its weapons polished and reloaded ready to shatter the entire music scene with an uncompromising full frontal assault at Romanian Thrash Metal Fest – 3rd edition – Old Grave Fest.
Explaining the relevance and influence of Entombed is probably as superfluous as pointing out why Slayer rule, Lemmy is bigger than God and the passing of Dio was the greatest loss in metal history. A legend is a legend and that’s that. Sure there’s always gonna be someone who’ll point out this is Entombed A.D. Ok, point taken. I’ll just summarize that even with Hellid’s departure, the remaining members had all been touring with the band for several years so it has become a solid line-up.
Considering we never got to see Entombed in Romania this will just have to do unless you’re a die hard fan of S&M and want to see Entombed in 2014 with a choir. But hey … to each his own.
Yes we all know Left Hand Path and Clandestine, and yes Entmobed A.D. hasn’t got much to do with those two masterpieces. If anything it’s more related to what they’ve invented – the death’n’roll era. But we can tell what we’ll have in Bucharest – we’ll have LG Petrov & Co. Reminding you hungry wasteland dogs, why Stockholm is the real sound of Swedish death, with their eternal dirty, heavy, d-beat death hymns from Left Hand Path and Clandestine! Or to twist your necks to the wicked punky grooves of their crazy tunes from Wolverine Blues/Uprising or Morningstar, albums that still hold the best combination of rock’n’roll, d/beat and buzzsaw death metal sound out there! Do yourself a favor and don’t miss this show, on this fest along that awesome line-up of bands! If you’re looking for something truly blazing this fall, let it be at OLD GRAVE FEST!

Încă o dată Romanian Thrash Metal Club este onorat sa prezinte o trupa in premiera pentru Romania. De aceasta data este vorba despre Entombed A.D. care vin pregatiti cu tot arsenalul din dotare pentru un show devastator in cadrul Romanian Thrash Metal Fest – 3rd edition – Old Grave Fest.
Sa incercam sa explicam relevanța și influența celor de la Entombed este, probabil, la fel de prisos ca si in incercarea de a explica de ce Slayer sunt unici, de ce Lemmy este mai mare decât Dumnezeu sau ca moartea lui Dio a fost cea mai mare pierdere din istoria de metal. O legendă este o legendă și cu asta basta. Sigur mereu va fi cineva care va tine mortis sa sublinieze ca vorbim totusi de Entombed A.D.. Ok, vom spune atunci că Entombed A.D., chiar și cu plecarea lui Hellid, ceilalți membri au fost in turneu cu trupa mai mulți ani la rand, așa că putem spune ca deja are un line-up solid.
Totusi, avand in vedere ca pana acum nu am avut placerea sa-i vedem pe Entombed A.D. in Romania, poate ca ar trebui sa ne bucure aceasta veste. Asta binenteles, daca nu esti un fan die-hard al S&M si vrei sa vezi Entombed cu Orchestra Filarmonica.
Da, știm cu toții Left Hand Path și Clandestine, și da Entmobed A.D. nu are mult de a face cu aceste două capodopere, ci mai degraba cu ceea ce au inventat ei prin ’93 si anume perioada death’n’roll.
Dar putem spune de ce vom avea parte la Bucuresti – ii vom avea pe LG Petrov & Co sa ne reaminteasca de adevaratul sunet death metal made in Stockholm, de imnurile de pe Left Hand Path si Clandestine, sau poate sa ne luxam gaturile pe hituri de pe Wolverine Blues / Uprising sau Morningstar, albume care inca dețin cea mai bună combinație de rock’n’roll, d/beat si death metal.
Prin urmare, face-ti-va o favoare si nu ratati acest show la OLD GRAVE FEST!
